  • Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The university was set up 1937.   • City University of Hong Kong

This institution was founded in 1984 as a public higher institution in the metropolis of Hong Kong. It is officially accredited and recognized by the Hong Kong Educational Bureau. It offers programs and courses that lead to recognized university degrees in different fields of endeavour. This institution has selective admission rules guiding them. These rules are based on the student’s past academic record. International students are welcome to apply for admission.   • The University of Hong Kong

Records have it that this is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong. The university has been in existence for more than 100 years. It is ranked 26th among the most recognized universities in the world.

  • Select a course and institution of your choice.
  • Fill out the e-application on the university’s website and submit.
  • Print out your online application.
  • Print out your application record sheet.
  • If you are coming as an exchange student, make sure you complete the endorsement part of the application record sheet.
  • Submit your application to the university website or to the academic department.
  • Your supporting documents along with application fee should be included.

University Entrance Requirements

Universities have different requirements and criteria for admission. However, nearly all universities in Hong Kong would require you satisfy the following requirements:

-Your country’s aptitude test result with satisfactory results.

-Personal and background information.

-Test of English as a foreign language or IETLS.

-Applications must be submitted at least a year before the desired admission year.

Application Deadline

Applicants can apply via paper or online application. You should look through the university’s website carefully for the registration date. Deadline is 2 months before assessment date. Please note that application submitted after the deadline will not be screened. The application period for international students takes place from September to December every year.
