Study on Cheapest Tuition at Altai State University, Russia

Altai State University is a world class Russian tertiary institution established sometime in 1973. It is a major educational, research and cultural center located in the Asian part of the country, integrated into international academic community, training the intellectual elite and conducting high-impact research.

ASU currently boasts of  12 faculties; Institute for Additional Education; 4 scientific research institutes; more than 30 applied research laboratories and research centers, 15 of which are SB RAS joint laboratories; 14 scholar schools, 2 of which have been acknowledged to be the leading scholar schools of Russia; science museums network; library with the collection of more than 1 million units.

International Admissions

If you have made up your mind to study at Altai State University please complete the Application Form and submit it to the International Relations Office before June 1st for visa support. You can equally may also reach out to the office  for details and recommendations on how to get your documents ready and where you can get them translated.

To initiate the process for studying at Altai State University, you will need to provide the Admission panel with the following set of documents from June 19th to August 15th in electronic form or in person.

For Bachelor’s Degree Programs:

  1. Your high school certificate or diploma (with examination results or transcript) or Secondary professional (or vocational) education diploma (with transcripts), legalization, certificate of recognition (if needed) and notarized translation into Russian.
  2. Passport or other identity document.
  3. 2 colored photos 3×4 cm.
  4. Application form.
  5. A document showing solid proof of Russian language proficiency.(If not available, you will be required to do an intensive 6 months to 1 year training on Russian language training)
  6. A duly signed medical certificate, certifying absence of medical contraindications for studying (including the results of HIV/AIDS test, Wassermann Reaction test, Chest X-Ray test as well as dates of taking these tests).

For Master’s Degree Programs:

  1. Applicants should submit their bachelor’s degree diploma (with transcripts), legalization, certificate of recognition (if needed) and notarized translation into Russian.
  2. Included also their passport or other identity document.
  3. Submit two colored photos 3×4 cm.
  4. Your completed application form.
  5. Documentary proof of Russian language proficiency.
  6. Medical certificate, certifying absence of medical contraindications for studying (including the results of HIV/AIDS test, Wassermann Reaction test, Chest X-Ray test as well as dates of taking these tests).

If the previous credentials were obtained in Russia, the candidate should submit one of the following documents: Bachelor’s Degree diploma (with supplement) or Specialist’s diploma (with supplement).

For Postgraduate Programs:

  1. Master’s Degree diploma (with transcripts) and Bachelor’s Degree diploma (with transcripts), legalization, certificate of recognition (if needed) and notarized translation into Russian.
  2. Passport or other identity document.
  3. 2 colored photo 3×4 cm.
  4. Application form.
  5. Documentary proof of Russian language proficiency.
  6. Medical certificate, certifying absence of medical contraindications for studying (including the results of HIV/AIDS test, Wassermann Reaction test, Chest X-Ray test as well as dates of taking these tests).

If the previous credentials were obtained in Russia, the candidate should submit one of the following sets of documents: Master’s Degree diploma (with supplement) and Bachelor’s Degree diploma (with supplement) or Specialist’s diploma (with supplement).
