Study Health Science at Low Cost At Simon Fraser University

Located in Canada on British Columbia’s west coast, Simon Fraser University (SFU) boasts three distinctive campuses – the Burnaby campus, Surrey campus and the Vancouver campus. The FSU Faculty of Health Sciences offers BA and BSc in Health Sciences programs ranging from mental health to environmental health and safely. Students are advised to choose the BA if they are interested in a social sciences/humanities approach to health sciences. If a student’s interest is more from the perspective of natural sciences, they are advised to pick the BSc.

General Requirements

  • English 11 (of French premiere language 11)
  • Language 11: includes beginner’s language 11, American Sign Language 11 or 12, and language 12 courses.
  • Science 11: included Biology 11, Chemistry 11, Earth Science 11, Forests 11, IB Environmental Systems 11, Principles of Physics 11 or a Science course at the Grade 12 level.
  • Foundations of Math 11: with a minimum grade of 60%, Pre-calculus 11, Foundations of Math 12, Pre-Calculus 12 or Calculus 12 with minimum grade of 60%.
  • English 12: with minimum final blended grade of 60%, English 12 First Peoples, or Francais premiere language 12 with minimum final grade of 60%.
  • Graduate: applicant must have graduated from high school.

Program-Specific Requirements

  • English 12 and three additional approved Grade 12 courses.
