Hamburg university is one of the largest of its kind in Germany and with four faculties. There are a wide range of Bachelors and Masters programs to choose from. To study at Bachelor’s degree level, international students in general should have a qualification that is equivalent to German school leaving certificate. You would also be required to prove either your German or English language proficiency.
All international students must apply online to uni assist and send copies of their school leaving certificate to uni assist before they can apply to Uni of Hamburg. Uni assist will check if your qualifications meet the entry requirements for a degree program at the university. Note that this process can take up to 4-6 weeks.
English Language Proficiency
International students for english language degree programs whose first language is not english must show proof of their english language ability.Such certificate must not be older than 2 years old.
Since the City of Hamburg subsidizes degree programs at Hamburg University, you are not required to pay for tuition fees. Tuition fees are waived for both local and international students.
