Applications are open for the 2017 Peace Education and the SDGs in Latin America Summer Program. This program is intended for college understudies, and invited secondary school understudies, graduate understudies, and deep rooted learners, partaking separately or in gatherings. June 22 – Visit UN Development Program territorial office, session on Sustainable Development Goals in Latin America
June 23 – Visit RET (Resilience, Education and Training) program for outcast youth in Panama
June 24 – Study Program and social trade with nearby indigenous groups in Panama
June 25 – Embark on Peace Boat in Cristobal, Panama, locally available introduction
June 26 – Panama Canal entry, readiness for addresses and study sessions locally available
June 27 – Onboard addresses and workshops
June 28 – Arrive in Nicaragua, Climate Action examine program and mangrove timberland visit. Come back to send for takeoff.
June 29 – Arrive in El Salvador, land from Peace Boat, social trade program
June 30 – Visit University of Don Bosco in San Salvador, discussion on Peace and Sustainability
July 1-2 – Cultural trade in El Salvador with nearby group bunches concentrated on the SDGs
July 3 – Return home
“Youth for the SDGs” Scholarship
Towards this point, Peace Boat US is putting forth two full grants for youngsters attempting to propel the SDGs to join the “Peace Education and SDGs in Latin America” program.
The grant will cover the accompanying:
Airfare: NYC-Panama, and El Salvador-NYC (or proportionate cost)
