Many people shy away from studying abroad because of the high tuition fees imposed by schools especially in countries like UK, US and Australia, but the good news is that there are countries where one can study and pay very low tuition fees. Tuition fees in this countries are very cheap and affordable such that anyone with low budget can afford it. In today’s article, we will be looking at three countries with low tuition fees for international students where the tuition fees range from 2000 Euro to 4000 Euro per year. These countries are, Ukraine, Poland and Russia.


Ukraine is located in the central part of Eastern Europe, on the crossroads of major transportation routes from Europe to Asia and from the Scandinavian states to the Mediterranean region. Poland is an eastern European country on the Baltic Sea known for its medieval architecture and Jewish heritage. Russia is the world’s largest nation and it borders European and Asian countries as well as the Pacific and Arctic oceans. Its landscape ranges from tundra and forests to subtropical beaches. It’s famous for Moscow’s Bolshoi and St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky ballet companies. St. Petersburg, founded by Russian leader Peter the Great, has the baroque Winter Palace, now housing part of the State Hermitage Museum’s art collection.

Cost of living in Russia, like the countries I have mentioned above, is affordable and in the range of $200 to $400 per year. This amount will take care of feeding, accommodation, transportation, books etc.

Tuition fees in Russia

Tuition fees in Russia is quite low and affordable usually in the range of $2000 to $6000 for courses in English language. If you intend to study in Russian medium, you can pay as low as $1000 per year. Note that to study in Russian medium, international students will need to undergo Russian language training which cost about $1600 to $2000 for one academic year.
