Here’s what you need to know; Fees are highly subsidized by the Government as part of efforts to expand access to quality education for international students. Students admitted into the Undergraduate level are estimated to pay annual fees within the ranges of 20000 – 30000AED. Similarly, those pursuing postgraduate studies will also pay fees within the ranges of $20000-$40000 AED. Accommodation cost around 5000AED but could be reduced to 1500AED if you don’t mind sharing a flat. To cover extra expenditure on food, entertainment, health and travelling, you’ll need an amount between 1000-1500AED.
General Eligibility and Admission requirements
For both Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants, proficiency in English is a key requirement as courses are offered in English language. If you are applying from an English speaking country where your previous classes were taught in English, this may not apply. However, for non- native English speakers your test scores in TOEFL and IELTS are used as proof of your proficiency.
Undergraduate: As an international applicant, you should obtained at least 12 years of schooling and hold a certificate equivalent to UAE high school diploma. Academic strength is prioritized and hence, at least 50%-60% score on the CBSE and ICU exams is required for those who take these exams. Though it becomes quite easier if you are transferring into an affiliate University in UAE.
Postgraduate: Anyone hoping to pursue postgraduate studies should obtain at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. MBA applicants should also have, in addition to the bachelor’s degree, a minimum of two-three years’ work experience in a relevant professional field.
