If you intend to study in Brunei Darussalam, you’ll be taken to the exotic Southeast nation of Borneo in the South China Sea.Malaysian Islands separate Brunei into two unconnected regions. In addition to travel authorization, an international student is required to submit three complete sets of application forms and certified copies of academic certification.The University of Brunei has a march deadline for putting these documents together.

You should submit the following documents before a visa is issued:

  • A valid passport
  • Proof of sufficient funds for at least a year
  • Admission letters from the chosen universities
  • Duly signed copies of academic qualifications
  • A medical report
  • Health insurance for the entire period of the study

Tuition Fees

Although most universities in Brunei are state sponsored, international students will still be required to pay tuition. The tuition fee varies from school to school but are affordable and cheap.Note that tuition is affected by the program and duration of study.

For instance, undergraduate programs cost roughly $1,475 and $1,765 per semester at Brunei Institute of Technology. While Masters would cost about $3,200 at the same school.

On the other hand, the university of Brunei has a tuition fee of 3000B$/yr for arts and humanities programs.Note that these fees are not inclusive of fees for on campus accommodation and other charges.

How to Apply

In order to be admitted to study in Brunei, you’ll need to have more than sufficient funds. In Fact, you need to have achieved fantastic grades in school. Past academic records would be well scrutinized to ensure you meet these requirements.

All selected students will be required to pass an entrance exams related to their field of study.Beside that, a series of phone interviews may be conducted to ensure the best of the students get in.
