fFor several international students, applying to study in the UK, US and Australia is near impossible because of the exorbitant tuition fees. The good news is that there are several tuition free universities in Finland you can apply to and study on free tuition.That said, why not make up your mind to study free in Finland?

Education is free in Finland and we understand as an international student you might be worried about the living expense. But have no fear, the cost of living in Finland is estimated to be 530 Euros per month. This amount is just an estimation and may be less or high depending on the spending habit of the student. This amount would cover the cost of accommodation, travels, books for one month. Note that before you get your visa at the Finnish embassy in your country, you will need to provide a documented proof that you have a minimum of 6,360 euros which is the estimated cost of living in Finland for one year.

Admission requirements

To apply to study in Finland at the undergraduate level, you will be required to provide a high school/secondary school certificate which is recognized in Finland, a TOELF test score, and an international passport if you’ll need a visa to travel.

At  the postgraduate level, applicants will be required to provide degree results and transcripts, a statement of purpose and two reference letters.   1. I will be most probably applying to one of the Finnish universities to study MA. Howeve,taking into account that not all intelligent foreign students are able to pay for their living costs of apprx. 700 euros, I would like to ask whether there are any organizations providing scholarships that would cover student’s living costs in Finland?
