Hungary is considered to be one of the oldest countries in Europe with over 1000 years of history. Hungary is situated in central Europe with population of over 11million people. Cost of study and living in Hungary
Cost of living in Hungary is relatively low compared to other European countries. It’ranges from 450 to 500 Euro per month which will cover the cost of accommodation, food, textbooks, phone, internet subscription, accommodation etc. Please note that cost of living varies and depends on factors like the city the student is residing and the spending habit.

Intelligent students with best academic records usually benefit from the State-Funded program, where the government of Hungary pays the tuition of students selected. If you are an EU student or come from a country that has reciprocal agreement with Hungary, you may qualify for the “State-Funded” student.
However, international students, non EU and students who don’t fall within the “State-Funded” category must pay tuition fees usually ranging from 1000 to 4000 euro per academic year. In addition they may also pay registration fees ranging from 40 to 700 euro depending on the course.
Admission requirement for study in Hungary
Students applying to study at the undergraduate level are expected to have completed a secondary education or high school and are in possession of a valid school certificate qualifying them for a higher education studies in Hungary.
Students will also be required to prove their proficiency in the use of English or Hungarian language.
Applicants for master’s study are required to be in possession of a relevant bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent.
Applicants that wish to study at this level should have a good master’s degree that is recognized in Hungary
