The NATO Defense College (NDC) is currently pleased to offer a research opportunity for international citizens of NATO member states:note that the NDC Eisenhower Defence Fellowship programme is named after the College’s founder, General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
This scholarship program began in 2015 and every year the NDC Research Division selects – on a merit basis – three NDC Eisenhower Defence Fellows: 1 Senior Eisenhower Defence Fellow (4 months) and 2 Eisenhower Defence Fellows (3 months each). As a fully funded fellowship, accepted fellows will receive a stipend to cover their travel and living expenses while conducting research at the NDC
All fellows will be selected based on specific aptitude and experience for carrying through a major defense or security research project related to NATO, its member states and/or the Partner country (research projects with no relation to NATO will not be considered). Beside the quality of the research proposal, very important in order to be selected will be the academic qualifications of the candidate, professional experience and publication record. Candidates must have a good working knowledge of English or French and be computer literate.
