Undergraduate and postgraduate programs are tuition-free for domestic and international students in Finland. To stand a chance of gaining admission to study in any finnish university, you will be expected to complete your application by the stated deadline. Hence, we will be taking you through the application requirements for international students as well as the deadline.
- If you have completed high school ,and are in possession of an original school-leaving certificate as well as qualify for tertiary studies in your home country, then you are eligible to apply for higher studies in Finland. However, you will have to prove your level of English by submitting standardized english test scores. In some cases, you might be required to take additional qualifying courses/exams.
- Interested international students applying for a master’s program at a university in Finland, should have in possession a relevant bachelor’s or equivalent degree diploma
Application deadlines for Programs at Polytechnics in Finland
- Please note that for study programs taught in English, the application period usually starts 6 months before the start of the program. For instance, if your study program starts in autumn, the likely deadlines will be by February. Endeavor to submit all supporting documents before the deadline expires in order for your application to be considered. Two months after the deadlines expires, the university of applied sciences/polytechnic will reach out to you and inform you whether you have been offered a place or not.
