Please note that tuition fees are very cheap and can go as low as EU 450 to EU 4000 per annum. International students who wish to study in Belgium will be expected to submit the following documents:
- A completed online application form for a selected academic program or course. This form is downloaded from your prospective university or college website or even filled-in electronically and submitted.
- For some study programs, you might be required to sit for an organized aptitude test.
For undergraduate studies: Please submit an attested/legalized copy of your secondary school leaving certificate and a copy of the results from the university entrance examinations (if applicable) in your home country.
For Master’s Degree Programs: Submit a legalized copy of your Bachelor’s degree certificate.
Please check with your institution and find out if you are required to submit more documents.
Note that Admission requirements to study in Belgium would depend majorly on the community you choose to study in. Please note that universities located in Flemish, German and French speaking communities have uniquely different entry requirements for students. But Generally, if you are applying for undergraduate programs, you have will have possession an authentic copy of your secondary school leaving certificate to be considered for admission. However, for specialized courses you might be required to take certain tests or exams. Please confirm with your institution. While Masters programs would require you have a relevant undergraduate degree.
Language of Instruction
Most higher institutions offer programs in Flemish German and French, while a few others offer courses in English.
The application deadline for programs in Belgium vary depending on the course program and the higher education institution chosen by applicants. Therefore, we recommend you to start the application process as soon as you have found a program you’d like to enroll in.
Please, bear in mind that institutions may set different deadlines for EU and non-EU students.
