Call for Participants British Council South Africa Researcher Links workshop 2017 for early profession analysts and Practitioners (Fully Funded)

English Council are presently hoping to select early vocation scientists and specialists from both the UK and South Africa to partake in our program (in complete 30 members). The program begins on the fourth of September 2017 and members should focus on:

Adding to an online exchange program from the fourth of September to 29th of September 2017

Going to a formative workshop in Cape Town from eleventh to thirteenth October 2017

Supporting the advancement of important thoughts into feasible activities and activities that can be taken forward cooperatively after the workshop

The 30 members can originate from scholastic foundations and from practice. We can offer spots to:

ten members from the accomplice foundations (five from CPUT and five from UEL)

ten members from other advanced education organizations (five from the UK and five from South Africa)

ten members from outside scholarly world (NPOs, NGOs, Research associations, proficient bodies, legislative offices, singular specialists, and so on) (five from the UK and five from South Africa)

WORKSHOP THEME:

WISH is an improvement activity that unites early vocation specialists, instructors, experts, businesses and approach producers from the UK and South Africa to create feasible tasks that expands the quality, range and number of chances for different understudies in, and past, the imaginative ventures. It is looking to:

Extend access to Higher Education

Increase interest in Higher Education

Guarantee understudy achievement

Improve employability

WISH is overseen by the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and the University of East London (UEL).

Qualification Criteria

Scholastic members must be Early Career Researchers: Early Career Researchers are characterized as holding a PhD (or having proportionate research involvement) and having up to ten years post-PhD explore understanding.

Members from scholastic foundations must have an examination or scholarly position (a perpetual post, Research contract, or partnership and so forth) at a perceived research organization either in the UK or in South Africa.

Experts must be built up experts with a perceived enthusiasm for the points and estimations of WISH working for non-business institutions.BC are effectively searching for individuals whose experience grasps both coordinated efforts with Higher Education and the innovative enterprises.

Members

Members can originate from scholarly establishments and from practice. We can offer 30 spots altogether to:

ten members from the accomplice organizations (five from CPUT and five from UEL)

ten members from other advanced education organizations (five from the UK and five from South Africa)

ten members from outside scholarly world (NPOs, NGOs, research associations, proficient bodies, administrative offices, singular experts, and so forth) (five from the UK and five from South Africa)

COSTS:

Neighborhood and worldwide travel (flight tickets), convenience and subsistence expenses will be secured by the coordinators.

Application Procedure:

The full application layout found here must be finished and put together by the second of May 2017.

If it’s not too much trouble take note that members are relied upon to go to all sessions of the workshop (eleventh thirteenth of October 2017) and take an interest in a 4-week online preliminary stage (September 2017).

Notice of results:

We will likely inform candidates of the result of their application by end of May 2017.
