The African Leadership University (ALU), Mauritius, with accreditation from the Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), is inviting international students to apply for a three to four year bachelors degree program. ALU is a low tuition university and offers a popular appeal to international students who are seeking a world class education at affordable rate. A number of free scholarships will be available for applicants who opt for scholarships. The admission application process hopes to enrol young people with the most compelling passion, experiences and who are hardworking, and ambitious to a receive world class education that will enable them impact change on the continent. Online Application form: This is where you will provide personal and academic details about yourself and through short essays and quizzes, share your passions and aspirations.
Online test: This online test is timed, and seeks to assess your basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Teacher Recommendation ALU gives your peers and teachers the unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of who you are, by shading more light on your academic, Leadership abilities and how proactive you are in turning challenges into prospects through recommendations.
Admission Course: You will taste our learning model, at first hand! The Africa Rising course which you are required to take, will enlighten you greatly about the Challenges facing Africa as well as its bright prospects that young leaders like you could harness to lead change. You will participate in discussions and debates with fellow applicants from across the world on various topics, and through short essays and quizzes, we will reflect and share your personal insights.
ALU accepts applications from High school graduates from all parts of the world, preferably within the age range of 18-22. At ALU, you will experience a world-class education in a diverse community of promising and brilliant young leaders from the world. We hope to enrol students who demonstrate the potential to succeed in our rigorous learning environment- for that reason, we encourage you to share your most profound academic and non-academic qualifications with us.
Applications for September 2016 is currently underway
With the early application, you will get an early notification. However, acceptance for the early decisions is not binding, as you will have the exclusive right to accept or decline. The unsuccessful applicants in the early decision are not permitted to apply in the regular decision but the next academic season. The deadlines are

Fees and Scholarships
There will be a limited number of free scholarhips for students who choose to apply for such. Other than that students who would like to opt for the fee-paying option, below are the fees and other costs;
Fees per year for African students: $7000
Fees per year for International students. $14000
Food, Medical Insurance, flights ($3000 – $5000)
Once off expenses (First year only – Visa, medical checks and laptop: $700)
This excludes incidental cost such as a stipend for monthly expenses.

v Online Maths and English tests
v High school Transcript ( 3 most current consecutive terms) or University Transcript(if applicable)
v Certificates of national exams
v Results of SAT/ACT(if applicable-not mandatory)
v Complete the Africa Rising
v 4 Recommendations ( two each for peer and teachers)
v A completed financial aid form with essential, verifiable documents attached.
Successful applicants will be asked to submit the right documents to facilitate visa and permit applications.
