Scholarship Info: A single Lord Walston Scholarship will be awarded to an African student, on the basis of academic excellence. This scholarship is for a student from Africa who is working in natural resource based projects (agriculturalist/natural resource) applying for a place on the MA Agriculture and Rural Development, the MSc Environment and International Development or the MSc Climate Change and International Development.

The level of competition for most of the awards offered by the university is extremely high and candidates are usually assessed on past, and potential, academic performance. If you will require a grant in order to undertake your studies, your application should be made as early in the year as possible. Applications received after March cannot be considered for most scholarships.

  • For applicants from Africa who are working in natural resource based projects (agriculturalist/natural resource).
  • Candidates must have proof of academic excellence

Number of Scholarships: One

Award Benefits: The Scholarship covers Full Fees and Maintenance (living expenses).

Duration of Scholarship: For the duration of the program

How to Apply: All eligible candidates to whom the School have made an offer are automatically considered for nomination.

Please note that all applicants are expected to have met the School’s English language requirements and been offered and accepted a place on the course by this date.  Successful applicants will be contacted by the admissions department
