2016/2017 Undergraduate Scholarships at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada

LaurierThe Wilfrid Laurier University of Canada is now  awarding distinguished scholarships to international students for undergraduate studies for the academic year 2016-2017. These scholarships will be open to students including all full and part time students, international students, and out of province students.

The Wilfrid Laurier University’s main objective is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.

Wilfrid Laurier University is a Canadian public research university located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The University has several other campuses located in places such as Toronto, Ontario (Canada’s largest city), Brantford, Ontario, Kitchener, Ontario and in Chongqing, China.

Students attending Laurier are expected to have excellent proficiency in the English language to benefit fully from university instructions presented in English.

Eligible Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate program.

Eligible courses: Scholarships will be awarded for all the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: The stated value of scholarships is subject to change.

Nationality: Both Canadian and international students are able to apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

  • English Language/Test Requirement: Some testing centers may require institution code. Laurier’s code is 0893.
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Internet-based testing: an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component and Paper-based testing: 560 or higher.
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): An academic score of 6.5 or higher.
    • Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MELAB): 85 overall or higher.
    • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): 70 overall or higher (each band 60 or higher).
    • Pearson Test of English Academic: 59 overall or higher.
    • Cambridge English Advanced (CEA): 58 overall or higher.

How to Apply: University has created an online admissions toolkit to help applicants through the process of applying and getting ready for their move to Canada.
