2016/2017 Paris-Saclay Master’s free Scholarships for International Students

PSThe University Paris-Saclay of France is committed to providing access to quality higher education for professionals from all countries across the world. Over the years, it has provided fully funded scholarship opportunities for international students across the world to pursue master’s degree programmes, in diverse subject areas at their preferred choice of institution among its partnered tertiary institutions. Beginning from February 29, 2016 to April 21st 2016, applications will open for all interested applicants to apply for the second wave of 2016/17 scholarship slots of 170.

Value of the Scholarship

Beneficiaries of this scholarship will receive an amount of $10000 for a period of one year. In addition, depending on your home country of origin, chosen students will benefit from a $1000 grant for flights and Visa processing expenses. The course starts in September 2016. Also, the scholarship package will require students to undertake a one year research project in France in any field for which the University of Paris-Saclay is accredited.

Who is eligible to apply?

If you are an international degree holder or equivalent and not beyond 30 years, who has not previously applied to the University Paris-Saclay, then you are encouraged to apply. However, this scholarship will greatly emphasize on academic excellence and the potential to meet the rigorous demand of the university academic standards.

How to apply?

To increase your chances of being selected for this scholarship, applicant will have to do among other things the following:

(a)   You must first be admitted for postgraduate studies, precisely, the master degree programmes, to be qualified. However, getting admission alone does not necessarily and automatically put your worthy of being awarded the scholarship. Admitted students with compelling profiles will receive emails inviting them to apply for the scholarship. We do not allow unsolicited applications.


(b)   Each applicant is required to provide the committee with two solid recommendations from two individuals who have interest with and knows him/her well. The period of validating this form is 8 days, and the applicant will have the responsibility to ensure that this is done. Where the recommenders fail to fill the form as required, the application will be automatically rejected.
