PERKS consulting is currently inviting international students and non-citizens of the United States from around the world to apply for and be selected for a scholarship programme. PERKS, is a popular US-based international firm that specializes in promoting nonprofit, and small to medium scale enterprises by providing sufficient capacity support and strategic training. This Scholarship package,which is offered every fall, amounts to $1000(per individual) to successful international students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the United States, particularly in Universities based in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
Please note that an applicant should have been enrolled or gained admission to a college in the US to be eligible to apply. That said, a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 or above, will put an applicant at a high chance of being selected. Applications will be received until May 16, 2016.
Please take care to read the following eligibility requirements specified below if you want increase your chances of winning this Scholarship. Majorly, the selection committee will prioritize academic merit and financial need. Other requirements include;
(a) Applicants should be international students from any country other than the United States.
(b) Applicants should have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
(c) Must have secured admission or already in University in the US, particularly one in the States earlier mentioned.

Please note that starting from February 15, 2016, applications will open and interested students should visit the scholarship website for the full and comprehensive application details. To start off the application, you need to bring together all relevant documents, as required by the online system to complete the whole process at one sitting. Unfortunately, the online application platform does not allow applicants to save and finish later.
Other Important Information
To fully complete your applications, you are required to submit a supplemental packet. The content of this packet is made of two letters of recommendation from people who truly know you well (Counsellors, Teachers, Mentors etc.), academic transcripts (whether high school or university), a prove of your admission letter into a US college, and two essays.
