Transparency International School on Integrity (TISI) is currently inviting applications for an annual state-of-the-art anti-corruption and accountability training for aspiring leaders. The upcoming TISI 2016 is scheduled to take place during 4-10 July, 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania.This program will expose successful candidates to some of the latest trends and best practices in the field of anti-corruption and accountability and offer real opportunities to try and implement briliant ideas in practice.
Based on a rigorous selection process, successful students will spend 7 highly intensive days learning from renowned anti-corruption and accountability leaders. TISI will leverage peer-to-peer learning and integrity-building environment that connects theory with practice and helps young people to acquire better skills in bringing the anti-corruption message across.
Also school lectures, seminars, training and field trips will afford TISI participants a unique blend of international and local know-how, while also challenging international students to approach the subject from not just a single angle as well as offer novel, previously untested solutions. Since 2010, TISI has welcomed more than 700 youth leaders from around 90 countries worldwide.
- The School is open to senior high school students, graduates and young professionals under the age of 35;
- Applicants from the public, private, non-governmental and academic sectors, from all academic backgrounds are eligible to apply.
A minimal course fee is required to cover tuition fees, course material, accommodation, meals and other extra-curricular activities. The fee for TISI 2016 is put at EUR 600. A limited number of scholarships is available for international students from certain countries. Full scholarships will cover transportation, tuition and accommodation expenses. Students who desire full or partial scholarships are highly encouraged to apply as soon as the application process opens.
In certain cases, students may be also offered partial tuition fee waivers to cover a part of their course expenses. The list of countries from which applicants are eligible for full or partial scholarships for TISI 2016 will be announced in January 2016. Last TISI (2015) scholarships were provided for participants from the following countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Iceland, Latvia, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine.
